Week 7 Results

In Uncategorized on October 25, 2010 at 3:37 AM

Well my week 7 picks faired out ok considering some crazy and unsuspected outcomes occurred. These are the ones I missed and why.

Bengals…. If the Bengals would have played all four quarters like they played after halftime, they wouldn’t have had a problem with the Falcons. Matt Ryan played the game of his career and so did Roddy White. The hole was too deep for the Bengals to get out of.

Eagles…. Well the game was controlled by the Eagles for a majority of the game. Two words “Michael Vick”

Saints…. Well offensively the Saints scored more points then the Brown’s offense. Two INTs by the Brown’s D didn’t help the Saints.

Ravens…. The Bills are just a few plays away from being a good team. Ravens D couldn’t maintain the speed of the Bills O.

Bucs…. The “show up late to the party” Bucs have a habit of spotting teams points before they play. They held the Rams but let go of too many field goals.

Cardinals…. After beating the Saints the week before, I would think that the Off and Def would keep the same intensity against the Seahawks which they didn’t.

Chargers…. All year they did well at home. Not this time.

Vikings…. Too many turnovers gave the game to the Packers.

On The Clock: St. Louis Rams

In NFL on March 11, 2010 at 10:01 PM

With the Rams looking for help on both sides of the ball I feel that they are looking to patch up the offense. Offensive lineman Hank Fraley, a veteran of 10 NFL seasons with Philadelphia and Cleveland, is scheduled to arrive in St. Louis for a free-agent visit.
Fraley, 32, has played center almost all of his career but can play guard as well. In theory he would provide depth for the Rams on the offensive line, be an experienced backup for Jason Brown at center, and perhaps compete for a starting job at right guard. They re-sign TE Daniel Fells. To me this looks like they want offense first. Maybe Sam Bradford? They did only score 175 points all of 2009.

So do you think that the Rams will go with Sam Bradford as the #1 pick?
